The close connection to the maritime town Sønderho is mainly formed by Sønderho Church.
It is the church in Denmark with the most church model ships – altogether 15. The baroque altarpiece is from 1717 and the pulpit from 1661. The gallery has its original colour from 1782.
The Sønderho Church is a “hall church” with orginially space for 800 people. The unique construction of the banks and the positioning of the pulpit makes this church a sight.
Services in Danish usually take place every Sunday at 10 am.
